What to Expect at State College Blvd.
Church of Christ

Some people hesitate to visit a church until they know what to expect. Perhaps we can help calm your fears about visiting us at the Church of Christ on State College Blvd. in Anaheim, CA.

The first thing we hope you’ll notice upon entering the property is the people. You will be warmly greeted by friendly people who are genuinely glad to see you. From there you’ll find different opportunities to discover more about the God who loves you and how we’re working in partnership with Him to make a difference in Anaheim, the surrounding area, and around the world.

On a typical Sunday at State College, you can expect

  • To be welcomed as you are.
  • Bible classes for all ages: 9 a.m. 45 minutes for class and then a break before we assemble to worship at 10 am.
  • Fun teaching and exciting Bible classes for your children.
  • Thought-provoking and engaging classes and messages based on the Bible.
  • Our time assembled for worship lasts about 60 to 75 minutes.

On a typical Sunday at State College, you will find

A Place to Belong

We believe that life change happens best in community. You will meet people you can grow, laugh and serve with.

A Place to Serve

God created you with gifts, passions and skills that you can use to make a difference in your family, your community and the world. Serve in one of our ministries or find out about ways to make a difference in your community and around the world.

A Place to Grow

We want to equip you with the tools to develop as a fully devoted follower of Christ. Bible Classes are a great way to meet people who love God, love each other, and want to keep learning about both.

A Place to Worship

Each Sunday we gather at 10:00 AM to proclaim our love for the One who redeems, transforms and empowers us to live as His people in the world and to encourage one another to live for Him.

Additional Study Opportunities

Each Wednesday at 7 P.M. we come together in classes for all ages to study the Word of God. Special studies are provided from time to time and an invitation for Home Bible Study is always extended to anyone who wants a more “personal” approach to Bible Study, a time when your own questions about God, the Bible, and living for Him can be addressed from Scripture.

Ladies Bible Study

Ladies Bible Study is held on the First and Third Wednesdays at 10 am. For about an hour our ladies dig into the Word of God and challenge each other in Christian service. Our preacher usually teaches that class.

Door to Door/House to House Serving

From time to time, we encourage all our members, guests to our assemblies are invited as well, to join together in going from house to house to meet our neighbors and see how we can be of service—praying for those with special requests, offering Bible study, personal visits, etc.

“There’s a Work for Every Christian in the Vineyard of the Lord!”

Fifth Sunday Potluck

Even though our kids intermingle for Bible study on Sunday and Wednesday, our adult English language members and Spanish speaking members meet concurrently in different parts of the building for worship. When a month has five Sundays we come together for food and get to visit with one another. All get to know each other better when we can put our feet under the same table and have a meal together. The variety of flavors and aromas blend together as a great “sense” of our togetherness and the sweetness of our fellowship. It is good to just BE TOGETHER.

Come join us as we seek to serve the Lord, each other, and those around us.
